You might not have been able to find certain cleaning and disinfectants in stores because of the COVID-19 outbreak. If you can’t find them in your store, don’t fret. Fortunately, you may already have cleaning products that can help combat this virus right in your home. Here are some Consumer Reports highlighted that you can use:

1. Soap and Water

Soap and water truly is one of the most effective combos against this virus.

2. Bleach

Bleach is a powerhouse tool against COVID-19. Remember to practice safety measures when handling bleach – use gloves, make sure it’s not expired, don’t use it with ammonia and use it in a well-ventilated area.

3. Alcohol

Rubbing alcohol is very effective. Be careful with plastics, and remember it is flammable.

4. Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide’s cleansing ability also works against coronavirus. Consumer Reports suggests putting undiluted 3% hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle and then spraying the surfaces you want to clean. Let the solution sit on the surface for a few minutes before wiping it up.
